Miss Night In Venice Committee meets

OCEAN CITY – Members of the Miss Night in Venice Charity Committee recently met to finalize plans for the upcoming July 2026 event.

Chaired by Pat Gillian, the committee includes Sharon Capezzi-Walsh, Sue Doll, Ashley Gillian, Maryann Jones, Jane Lugo, Nadine Otto and Cathy Solarski.

Miss Night in Venice contestants met with the committee, had publicity photos taken and received their Miss NIV T-shirts to wear when soliciting donations. This year’s collected donations will again benefit thirteen local non-profit organizations.

The contestant who collects the highest amount of donations will be crowned Miss Night in Venice 2026, and will be introduced, along with her court, on the stage of the Ocean City Tabernacle at 7 p.m. Monday, July 20. She will also receive a $1,000 scholarship to use personally or to donated to her favorite charity.

Preceding the crowning ceremonies, at 6 p.m. the contestants will parade in convertibles on the Ocean City Boardwalk from Fifth Street to 12th Street. The new Night in Venice Queen, along with her court, and contestants will then reign over Ocean City’s Night  in Venice Boat Parade on Saturday, July 25, starting at 6:30 p.m.
