Assemblyman McClellan to speak to OC-UT Rotary Club Thursday

SOMERS POINT –  Assemblyman Antwan McClellan will be the guest speaker for the Rotary Club of Ocean City – Upper Township dinner meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Somers Point Diner, 8 MacArthur Blvd., Somers Point.

Guests, prospective members, and the general public are always welcome to attend Rotary meetings. 

McClellan was elected to the New Jersey State Assembly in 2020 as a District 1 representative for Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties. He became the deputy Republican leader in January 2024, following his service as the Republican whip from 2022 to 2023.

He currently serves on four General Assembly committees: Appropriations; Public Safety and Preparedness; Tourism, Gaming and the Arts; and the Joint Committee on Economic Justice and Equal Employment Opportunity.

 McClellan’s educational journey began with his graduation from Ocean City High School in 1993, followed by his pursuit of higher education at Virginia State University and Old Dominion University. He serves as chief of staff and personnel director in the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office, effectively combining his dedication to public service with professional expertise.
