Elizabeth Barrow Cox, 103

Elizabeth Barrow Cox, age 103, of Ocean City, NJ, passed away peacefully on Aug 14, 2026.   Born in Yeadon, PA, married Robert P. Cox in 1939. She raised eight children and lived in Drexel Hill, PA for most of her life, until moving to Ocean City in 1987.

She is survived by her daughters Betsy Gladue (Larry Teti) and Jane Cox Jones and her sons Robert (Eileen), Edward (Gailyn), John, and James (Michele) Cox.  She was preceded by her parents Daniel Hubert Barrow in 1952 and Elizabeth Stewart Barrow in 1989, her husband in 1987, sons Joseph in 2013 and Thomas in 2014, daughters-in-law Connie in 2013, and Sue in 2019. She has 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 8 great, great, grandchildren and one great, great, great grandchild. She loved bowling strikes, being on the beach, swimming in the ocean and watching the Philly sports teams.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, August 20th 10:00-11:00 AM St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
