Port-O-Call Hotel completes room renovations with modern aesthetics

OCEAN CITY – Following the completion of its recent renovations, the Port-O-Call Hotel now boasts the newest hotel rooms in Ocean City.

Embracing modern design aesthetics, the new look balances a unique blend of contemporary sophistication with time-honored elegance, according to a spokesperson for the hotel.

Distinguished and inviting, the new room interiors feature gentle tone-on-tone color palettes reminiscent of the romantic hues of sunset over the vast Atlantic Ocean. Subtle textures, shimmering finishes, custom carpets, and an elevated art collection lift the hotel’s beachfront ambiance and create an atmosphere as stylish as it is timeless, the spokesperson said.

The completion of the guest room renovations marks the continual updates to the hotel over the past years. In recent years the hotel renovated its one-of-a-kind oceanfront restaurant, Adelene, as well as the lobby and corridors.

“I don’t think we will ever truly be ‘done,’” said Glenn Losch, general manager of the Port-O-Call Hotel. “Earning our customers’ satisfaction is our top priority. We’re always looking at what we can enhance next to deliver an unforgettable experience. Every year when our loyal guests come back, there’s a little something new to delight them. We take great pride in that.”

About the Port-O-Call

According to the spokesperson, since 1966, the Port-O-Call Hotel has been known as the place to make memories at the Jersey shore. Renowned for its spectacular ocean views and boardwalk location, the hotel features 98 well-appointed guest rooms, a luxurious penthouse, and a three-bedroom, two-story, fully furnished private guest house. Recognized by its distinctive pink exterior, also known as “the pink hotel,” the iconic Port-O-Call is an Ocean City landmark rising above Ocean City’s skyline. The hotel delivers a standard of excellence to guests and has become a staple of the Ocean City community. Hotel amenities include a fitness center, massage therapy services, heated oceanfront pool, guest laundry, poolside Cabana for quick bites, over 2400 square feet of flexible event space, and an on-site oceanfront restaurant, Adelene. Port-O-Call is continually the recipient of TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Award each year, the highest honor TripAdvisor can bestow.
