William Foster Yarwood of West Grove, PA and OCNJ passed on May 3, 2026 at the age of 83.
Born in Media, PA, Bill was a member of First United Methodist Church and a 1960 graduate of Media High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960-63 on the USS Compton DD-705. He obtained his B.S. from Millersville Univ in 1967, his M.S. from West Chester Univ in 1970 and his DrEd from Temple Univ in 1988 to create a long and successful career in high school administration. Bill served as past president of PACAC.
Mr. Yarwood was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Kathleen Huck Yarwood, and his brother, Robert Yarwood. He is survived by his children, Kristin May of PA and Emme Yarwood (Adelaide Papazoglou) of CA, and his grandchildren Sophie May, Jackson May, Alcyone Papazoglou Yarwood and Galen Papazoglou Yarwood.
