Susan “Sue” Myers, 90

Susan “Sue” Myers, 90, of Ocean City, NJ, passed away on August 2, 2023.  Born on December 16, 1932 in Wolfdale, PA to Florence and Richard Fair, she was blessed to have many roles in this life.  She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Sue was a woman of great faith and exemplified that faith every day.  She spoke freely about her faith, prayed faithfully, gave generously, and devoted countless hours to supporting her church.  Her church family played an important role in her life.  She passed her faith to her children and grandchildren.  The first song she taught all her grandchildren was “Jesus Loves Me.”

Sue is survived by her children, Holly (Phil) Mackey, David (Marlisa) Myers, Barbara Dull, Nancy Myers and Carol (Bryan) Mitterer; her grandchildren Evan Myers, Justin Myers, Jillian Myers, Alexander Mackey, Jennifer Mackey, Bradley Dull, Lindsey Dull, Ryan Myers, Allana Epstein, Charles “CJ” Mitterer, and Corey Mitterer; and her great-grandson Sebastian Campos.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Myers, her parents, and her five sisters.

A memorial service is planned for August 18, 2023.  The service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 701 Wesley Avenue, Ocean City, NJ, 08226.  Visitation at 10:00, service at 11:00. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to First Presbyterian Church in Ocean City.
