Super Hero Run in Ocean City

Wonder Woman, Spider Man, the Hulk and others braved the blah elements Saturday morning to test themselves in the one-mile Super Hero Run that took them from the Music Pier north and back – and back and forth again.

Above, Wonder Woman, otherwise known as Savanna Carelse, 8, of Ocean City, breaks through a (cardboard) brick wall in a children’s obstacle course after the run. Savanna also was the fastest female in the one-mile race. At top, the Southard family of Ocean City runs together. That’s mom Allison, dad Michael and son Michael, 4. Two-year-old Madelyn had the luxury of a ride down the boardwalk.
