South Jersey Quilts of Valor presentation at American Legion Post 239

TUCKAHOE – On June 26, South Jersey Quilts of Valor visited American Legion Post 239 of Tuckahoe, meeting at the Wesley United Methodist Church.

The quilters were represented by Ruth Ann Bosworth and Kathy Tweed, who attended the post’s regular meeting to present 12 quilts to post members and local veterans.

This was the second time for the South Jersey Quilts of Valor. In December, they were on hand to present 10 quilts. Post Commander Bill Archer recommends sending donations to the organization, as they do incur costs to make the quilts. The post hopes to have the quilters return because there are members who have not received a quilt.
