SOCIA July 4th Parade draws nearly 1,500 people on America’s birthday

OCEAN CITY – The South Ocean City Improvement Association July Fourth Bike Parade drew nearly 1,500 people, including the participants in the annual bike parade and the volunteers.

 The participants gathered at Our Lady of Good Counsel at 39th and Central Avenue for the 10 a.m. parade on a hot morning that featured a cooling breeze. There were floats and costumes and decorated bikes with many of the participants enjoying the parade as a family tradition. Here is a sampling of the people enjoying the parade on America’s birthday.
