Raider field hockey rolls over Atlantic City

The Ocean City High School field hockey team rolled past Atlantic City 9-0 Monday afternoon in a Coaches vs. Cancer game in which a $9,300 check – raised through the Ocean City pink hair initiative – was presented to Gilda’s Club. The game was in honor of late coach Mikenzie Helphenstine. In the game, Stevie Wright scored three goals in the contest. Lyla Clark and teammate Casey Adamson also scored. Lily Cozamanis had two goals and Wynne Nussey and Caroline Bickings each added a goal. The Red Raiders scored five goals in the first period and three in the second before giving a lot of players a chance to get on the field.
