The Cape May County Division of Aging & Disability Services will hold a Public Hearing for the purpose
of receiving public comment on its proposed Area Plan 2027 On
SEPTEMBER 15, 2026 AT 10AM Lower Cape Senior Center

The proposed Area Plan contains the following services that Cape May County intends to fund during 2027:
Information & Assistance Care Management
Transportation Housekeeping
Legal Assistance Outreach
Oral Health Evidence Based Health Promotion Disease
Prevention Programs/Home Meds Administration of Congregate
Nutrition and Home Delivered Meals Residential Maintenance
Socialization/Recreation Adult Protective Services
Adult Day Care-Medical
National Family Caregiver Support Program Emergency
National Family Caregiver Support Program Respite Care
National Family Caregiver Support Program Professional In-Home Education/Support
National Family Caregiver Support Program Caregiver Counseling
National Family Caregiver Support Program Caregiver Support Group
National Family Caregiver Support Program Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
All information gathered during the Public Hearing provides data and insight to the Division of Aging & Disability Services regarding those issues and services most needed to preserve independence and dignity for Cape May County residents 60 or older.
Written comments on the above services will be accepted until Thursday October 15, 2026.
