Ocean City School District COVID

OCEAN CITY – As of May 24, the Ocean City School District reported a total of 742 close-contact cases requiring students and/or staff to quarantine, and a total of 126 positive cases of COVID-19 since winter break.

The district has been providing regular updates of the number of students/staff testing positive for the coronavirus and those requiring quarantine either because of a positive test or because they came in close contact with someone who did test positive.

Since the beginning of January, the were 85 positive cases of COVID-19 at the high school and 606 students/staff quarantined.

There were 27 positive cases at Ocean City Intermediate School with 82 quarantined and 14 positive cases at Ocean City Primary School with 54 quarantined. From early September tol winter break, there were 79 positive COVID-19 test in the district and 488 close-contact cases.
