TO THE OCEAN CITY ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
That the undersigned has filed an application with the Zoning Board of Adjustment in the City of Ocean City, New Jersey for preliminary and final major site plan approval and variance relief from the requirements of the Ocean City Zoning Ordinance for use, expansion of a nonconforming use, rear yard setback to building & stairs, building coverage, impervious coverage and number of parking spaces together with any other variance, waiver or interpretation which may be necessary, appropriate or required to allow the Applicants to construct a new two story school building on Lot 2 to supplement the existing Montessori school on the Properties. The subject Properties are located at 137-147 Haven Avenue designated as Lots 1, 1.01 & 2, Block 109 on the Ocean City Tax Map.
A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Howard S. Stainton Senior Center located at 1735 Simpson Avenue, Ocean City, New Jersey, and when the case is called you may appear either in person, or by attorney, and present any support or objections which you may have to the granting of the relief sought. The meeting will be open to the public and there will be no opportunity to participate remotely.
The following described maps and papers are on file in the Planning office of the City of Ocean City, Henry Knight Building, 115 12th Street, Ocean City, New Jersey and may be viewed during normal business hours free of charge.
