Mary Patricia Witchko

Mary Patricia Witchko (née Smith) most recently of Newtown Square, passed peacefully in the early hours of August 14, 2021 surrounded by her husband and children. 

She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, James C. Witchko, and her three children Tracey Witchko of Philadelphia, Matthew Witchko (Jacquelyn) of Virginia, and Juliane Keener (Stewart) of Philadelphia. She was a loving grandmother known simply as “G” to J.C. and Max Witchko, and Phoebe Keener. She is also survived by her sister, Clare Gallagher of West Chester,PA and brother, Joseph Smith of Aston, PA. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Smith of Philadelphia.

Mary Pat was born in Philadelphia and raised her family in Drexel Hill, PA. She enjoyed spending summers on the beach in Ocean City, NJ and in her later years, wintering in Naples, FL with her husband. She was a loyal and loving friend to many, and her loss will be felt deeply.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Logan Videon Funeral Home in Brooomall, PA from 5pm-7pm on August 25 and 9am on August 26 at Saint Dorothy’s Church in Drexel Hill followed by a funeral mass at 10am. A private interment will follow at a later date.
