Mary K. Yourchisin

Mary K. Yourchisin “Kate” of Seaville, NJ passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at her home.

Born in Philadelphia, PA she was a graduate of Lower Merion High School class of 1968. She was a graduate of Montgomery County College and West Chester University class of 1972.

Kate worked as a Language Arts Teacher and was a Cheerleading coach for Middle Township School District. She also worked as a Substitute Teacher for Ocean City and Upper Township Schools.

Surviving is her husband: Michael P. Yourchisin, her children: Michael W. Yourchisin, Amy Lilly (Robert), Brandon M. Yourchisin, a grandson: Ozzie, two brothers, John D. Chain, Jr. (Julie), Bryan Chain, and a sister, Helen Godonis (Tony). She was predeceased by her brother, William T. Chain, Jr. (Chris).

Her Funeral Service was held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ.
