Marie Huber, 82

Marie (nee Donovan) Huber, 82, of Dorothy passed away December 20, 2024. Born in Atlantic City, she grew up in Ventnor and was a 1960 graduate of ACHS. After marriage, she moved to Ocean City, where she worked for The Ocean City Sentinel-Ledger and later for Drs. Kelman, Rosky, and Kaplan until retiring in 2003. She was a member and past present of American Business Women, Ocean Charter Chapter. After moving to Dorothy, she was involved with the Special Events committee and a member of the Dorothy Volunteer Fire/Rescue Squad auxiliary.

Preceded in death by her husband John Huber, parents Charles and Mae (nee Dunbar) Donovan, and brother Charles “Chuck” Donovan. She and John were together for over 67 years. She is survived by her daughter Marie (Tracy) Migliaccio of Marmora, son John Huber III of Mays Landing, four grandchildren Beth (Benton) Sawrey, Michael Migliaccio, John Huber IV, and Alanna Aquino, and four great grandchildren Greyson and Allie Sawrey and Sophia and Luna Aquino. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Maclean, sister-in-law Lynda Donovan, and several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Service will be offered Saturday morning, December 28th, 2024 at 11 o’clock from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ where friends may call from Ten o’clock until the time of service. Burial will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Shriners Hospital for Children or Dorothy Volunteer Fire Department would be appreciated.
