JEANNE LORD obituary

Jeanne A. Lord, 86, of Palermo, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2024 in Shore Medical Center, Somers Point, NJ after a brief illness.

Born to the late Raymond and Nancy (nee Cappezza) Moore in Ocean City, NJ. She was proud to be a true native of Ocean City.

She was a graduate of Ocean City High School class of 1956, where she met the love of her life her late husband Harry V. Lord.

In addition to her beloved husband she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Kasey Early.

Jeanne was a member of the Ocean City High School Alumni Association. She helped plan many reunions. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge of Egg Harbor Township.

Surviving are her children: Harry V. (Robin) Lord, Jr., Michael J. (Mary Jane) Lord, Kim (Victor) Early also surviving are seven grandchildren: Valerie, Michael, Jr., Stephen, Paul, Kristen, Lauren, Amy, three great grandchildren: Lily, Emma Jane, Layla and a brother: Raymond (Nancy) Moore.

A Service of Memory and Love will be offered Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 11 o’clock at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ where visitation will begin at 10 o’clock.

Burial will be private.

Memorial contributions are requested to either Ocean City High School Alumni Association, c/o Ocean City High School, 501 Atlantic Avenue, Ocean City, NJ 08226.
