Jacqueline Simpson Caroccio, 87

Jacqueline Simpson Caroccio, 87, died on August 30, 2023, after a courageous battle in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones.

Jackie was born on May 7, 1936, and was raised on Scattergood Street in N.E. Philadelphia by her parents, John and Florence Simpson, with her siblings, Dolores Ward (Francis), John C. (Dorothea), and Donna Simpson.

Jackie trained to be a hairdresser at Mercy Academy. After briefly working in Philadelphia, she moved to Ocean City and worked at Phil’s Beauty Salon. Her tremendous strength and determination will forever be remembered and carried on through her family.
