Fool Moon Theatre presents ‘The Miracle Workers’

The Fool Moon Theatre Co. is presenting “The Miracle Worker” weekends Sept. 20-29 at Margate Community Church. The Tony Award-winning play explores the course of two women overcoming overwhelming challenges and blossoming into powerful lives. The story is about teacher Annie Sullivan and her student, Helen Keller. Above, director Andrea Zakheim-Poetsch works with Lydia Snyder, left, and Hillary Poetsch, right. The performances are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. The Sunday, Sept. 22, performance will be signed by an ASL interpreter. Tickets are $30, $25 for seniors and $15 for students at foolmoontheare.org or at the door of the church, 8900 Ventnor Parkway, Margate.
