Edna L. Swenson, 93

Born in Sacramento, CA to the late Grover Cleveland and Edna (nee Beamer) Royse.  Edna had worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Crest Flowers in West Orange, NJ before her retirement. After her retirement she moved to Ocean City where she loved going to the beach, spending time with her family especially watching her grandchildren during the summer.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband: Henry F. Swenson, son: Paul Swenson, and brothers: Harold and Carroll Royse.

Surviving are her children: Linda M. (Paul) Steets and Douglas G. (Dawn) Swenson.  Also surviving are her grandchildren: Christopher (Jamie) Steets, Jennifer (Shawn) Zahaczewski, Kyle (Brianna) Steets, Shawn (Kristen) Steets, Kevin (Kristen) Swenson, Patrick (Jessy) Swenson, Ryan Swenson and great grandchildren: Madison, Autumn, Sophia, Natalie, Nathan, Summer, Sklyer, Charlie and to arrive soon Alaina.

Her Funeral Service was held Saturday, February 15, 2025  at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ.
