LINDA ANN ROBIE, 80

Linda Ann Robie, née Wollerton, member of the Friends and Volunteers of the Ocean City Free Public Library, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died November 29, 2023. She was 80. She died of heart-related conditions after a long battle with heart failure.

Linda began a career in computer sales in the early seventies, working at companies such as Dataflex, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, GE Capital, and Oracle. By the time she retired in 2005, she had been a beloved manager and sales representative for many years.

During that time, she was also an avid volunteer with the Girl Scouts of America and at St. Benedict Roman Catholic church in Holmdel, N.J. After she retired, she volunteered for the Friends and Volunteers of the Ocean City Free Public Library as well as food pantries in Hazlet, N.J., and Ocean City. She was a parishioner at St. Damien Parish in Ocean City.

Linda also loved to garden, had an encyclopedic knowledge of classic movies, kept up with her grandchildren’s achievements and activities, and loved a good banana split.
