NOTICE is hereby given that a written application has been filed with the Zoning Board of
Adjustment of the Township of Upper Township by the undersigned, Robert T. Belasco, attorney for the
Applicant, Sarah L. Gaglione, who are applying to Board in regards to the property located at 127 Route
50, Ocean View, New Jersey also known as Block 549.01, Lot 1.01 on the Tax Map of the Township of
Upper Township. The project is located in the TC (Town Center) zoning district. The Applicant is seeking
approval to construct a single-family dwelling that will front on to Cambridge Drive.
The Applicant is requesting D(1) use variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(D)(1) as single
family dwellings are not permitted within the TC zoning district. The Applicant is also requesting ‘C’
variance relief in relation to the existing lot depth, proposed front yard setback to Cambridge Drive,
proposed rear yard setback, minimum distance between the principal and accessory dwelling, and to
permit an accessory structure in the front yard. In addition to the foregoing variance relief, the Applicant
is also requesting any and all variances, waivers, exceptions, permits, approvals or licenses deemed
necessary and/or required by the Board or the Applicant which may arise at the time this Application is
heard.
A public hearing on the above-mentioned application has been scheduled to be heard on August
6, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Public Meeting Room located at the Upper Township Municipal Complex, 2100
Tuckahoe Road, Petersburg, New Jersey 08270. The public is invited to attend this meeting and participate
therein in accordance with the rules of the Upper Township Zoning Board of Adjustment.
The above application and all plans relative thereto have been filed with the Secretary of the
Zoning Board, located at the Upper Township Municipal Complex, 2100 Tuckahoe Road, Petersburg, New
Jersey 08270 and are available for inspection at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing during normal
working hours (M-F 8:30am – 4:30pm). If you wish to be heard with respect to this application or offer
evidence in connection with same, you must appear in person at said hearing or through an attorney or
agent.
