What’s open in Cape May area during state shutdown

With the mandated closing of New Jersey restaurants and bars for eat-in services March 16, area restaurants have taken steps to provide delivery options to residents.

Restaurants

— Beach Plum Farm, 140 Stevens St., is closed for meals but the farm market is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for vegetables, meats and fresh eggs.

— Big Wave Burritos, 1400 Texas Ave., is offering takeout and delivery via GrubHub. Open until 8 p.m. Now accepting credit cards. To order, call (609) 898-8646.

— The C-View Inn, 1380 Washington St., is open for takeout food for pickup and delivery from noon to 8 p.m. The full menu is available. To order, call (609) 884-4712.

— Domino’s, 2200 Bayshore Road, is open normal hours and offering specials. Contactless delivery available. Order online, via Domino’s app or call (609) 886-1211.

— Exit Zero, 110 Sunset Blvd., is offering takeout from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and deliveries to the Cape Mays only from noon to 8 p.m. To order, call (609) 770-8479.

— Fleck’s Ice Cream, 1600 Bayshore Road, is restricting hours to 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Call (609) 889-2393.

—George’s Place, 301 Beach Ave., is offering takeout service and free delivery on the island. Breakfast menu from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., lunch menu 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., dinner menu 2 to 8 p.m. All menu items are buy one, get one free. To order, call (609) 884-6088.

— Gecko’s, 479 W. Perry St., is accepting takeout orders with curbside pickup. To order, call (609) 898-7750.

— Mike’s Bayshore Café, 3852 Bayshore Road, is promoting its drive-thru for customers. Call ahead to order takeout and food will be handed out through the window in the back of the building. Call (609) 886-1700.

— Ostara’s Coffee House, 600 Park Blvd., is open 8 a.m. to noon Monday to Saturday. Takeout/pick up is encouraged, as is paying by credit card, Apple or Google Pay.

— Panico’s Bistro, 422 Broadway, is open from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday for delivery only. To order, call (609) 884-7170.

— Pretty Tasty Cupcake Boutique, 31 Perry St., is taking orders for curbside pickup and delivery. To order, call (609) 972-9102.

— Roman’s Pizza House, 3718 Bayshore Road, is open for takeout and delivery orders. Credit cards are preferred and signatures not required on delivery. To order, call (609) 600-3312.

— Seaside Cheese Co., 110 Park Blvd., is open for takeout. Breakfast sandwiches and paninis are available. To order, call (609) 884-8700.

— Vincenzo’s Little Italy II, 3704 Bayshore Road, is open for takeout and delivery only from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The restaurant is closed until further notice. To order, call (609) 889-6610.

— The Ugly Mug, 426 Washington St., is open for takeout food and beer from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call in orders and pick up, (609) 884-3459.

— Wawa, 1426-1428 Texas Ave. and 3719 Bayshore Road, are open but implementing overnight closures from 2 to 3 a.m. at all locations for additional sanitation, cleaning and stocking. Additionally, Wawa has suspended self-service coffees, self-service fountain beverages, Icee drinks, cappuccino and iced coffees and switched to associates serving beverages. Wawa will be individually bagging all bakery products for customers.

— Wing-It, 1265 Bayshore Road, is open and offering weekend specials. Call ahead to order and wait in car. Venmo is available for payment. To order, call (609) 886-8488.

— The Y.B., 314 Beach Ave., is open from noon to 8 p.m. serving takeout only with a new menu. Cash and credit accepted. To order, call (609) 898-2009.

— 5 West Pub, 3729 Bayshore Road, is open noon to 7 p.m. with a full menu available for takeout and delivery. Packaged goods available. Delivering to 08204, 08251 and 08212. To order, call (609) 889-7000.

Other

— Acme Markets, 315 Ocean St. and 3845 Bayshore Road, are open. Stores have reserved 7 to 9 a.m. Monday to Friday for senior citizens and other at-risk populations.

— Animal Outreach, 600 Park Blvd., has closed the adoption center to the community. Hours are available via appointment. Call (609) 898-1738 to leave a message or email info@aocmc.org.

— Cape May Brewing Co., 1288 Hornet Road, is offering both pickup and delivery of canned brews available in its Brewtique. Visit online or call to place order, (609) 849-9933, ext. 3. Delivery minimum of three 4-packs/6-packs. Delivery fee is $4.99 from noon to 5:30 p.m. Purchaser must be 21+ and ID available upon delivery. Pickup is available from noon to 7 p.m. daily.

— CVS, 139 Myrtle Ave., is open daily, regular business hours apply.

— Good Scents, 327 Carpenters Lane, and Red Oak Trading, 324 Washington St., storefronts are closed but offering curbside delivery. Decide what you need, pay ahead by credit card for service. Not accepting cash. Call (609) 884-0014 for Good Scents and (609) 827-8320 for Red Oak.

— ShopRite, 1700 Route 47 South in Rio Grande, is open and has reserved the first hour of business (7 to 8 a.m.) for elderly guests.

— Collier’s Liquor is closed until further notice.

— Coffee Tyme is closed until further notice.

— El Pueblo is closed until further notice.

— Fine Fellows Creamery is closed through April 2.

— FiNS is closed until further notice.

— Hawk Haven Winery closed through March 31. Orders available online and by phone. Parking lot pickup is also available.

— Magic Brain is closed until further notice.

— Natali Vineyards is closed but they are open for sales and shipping.

— Nauti Spirits is closed through April 2.

— Oceanview Diner & Family Restaurant is closed for two weeks or until further notice.

— Original Fudge Kitchen is closing indefinitely.

— Out There Coffee is closed until further notice.

— Stewart’s Root Beer is closed until further notice.

— Tisha’s is closed through the first week of April.

— Westside Market is closed through March 31.

—Willow Creek Winery is closed through April 1.

—Uncle Bill’s is closed until further notice.

Other

— Cape May County Library braaanches are closed until at least April 1 or further notice.

— Cape May County Zoo is closed until further notice.

— Cape May-Lewes Ferry is ceasing foot passenger tickets and will accept vehicle traffic only. Riders are to remain in their cars for the duration of the crossing. Reservations are required and there will be no food services available on the vessels or terminals.

— DeSatnick Real Estate offices in Cape May and North Wildwood are closed. Agents and management team are working remotely.

— The Exit Zero Jazz Festival will be announcing new spring dates.

— The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts is closed through April 2. This includes the Physick Estate, Cape May Lighthouse, World War II tower and all trolley tours.

— Singer-Songwriter Cape May has canceled all events.
