Samuel Franklin Stringfellow, 87, passed away on February 6, 2021, in Raleigh, NC.

Samuel (Lin), a native of Mt. Holly, New Jersey, was born on June 27, 1933, to the late William Ambler Stringfellow and Valera Godfrey Schwertzler.  Always a leader, he served as president of the student council and captain of the football team at Rancocas Valley Regional High School.  He was named to both Burlington All-County and All-State South Jersey teams, later inducted into the RVRHS Hall of Fame, and received a football scholarship to Rutgers University (’58).  Upon college graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps (3B, 3M, IC) and at the rank of 1st Lieutenant served as a company commander.
