Rosemarie Noller Speitel, 91

Rosemarie Noller Speitel, age 91, passed away on July 24, 2023 at The Shores in Ocean City, NJ.  She is 

the daughter of the late Christian and Gertrude Noller.

Rose was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she graduated from Little Flower High School in 1949.  

Subsequently, she moved to Mt. Laurel, NJ with her late husband, Jerry, to advance his civil engineering 

career.  They retired to Ocean City in 1990.  Rose was a faith-filled woman and volunteered her time 

extensively to Catholic organizations, in particular Our Lady of Good Counsel parish in Moorestown, NJ, 

Bishop Eustace Preparatory School, and St. Francis Cabrini Church in Ocean City.  She showed love, 

affection, and acceptance to all, no matter how difficult the circumstances were.

Rose is predeceased by her husband, Gerald Speitel, and son, Edmond Speitel.  She is survived by her 

son, Gerald Speitel Jr.; daughters-in-law, Diane Speitel and Roxanne McKee; grandchildren Edmond 

Speitel Jr., Leanne Anderson, Eric Gorland, and Matthew Speitel; and great grandchildren, Cannon 

Anderson, Hunter Anderson, Christian Speitel, and Madison Speitel.  She is also survived by many other 

cousins, nieces, and nephews from the Noller and Speitel families.  Rose had a steady and loving 

presence and will be sorely missed by all.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be he offered Monday morning, July 31, 2023 at 11 o’clock from St. Frances Cabrini Church of St. Damien’s Parish, 2nd Street and Atlantic Avenue, Ocean City, NJ.  Friends may call there from 9:30am until 10:45. 

 Burial will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ.

In lieu of flower memorial contributions are suggested to Little Flower High School, 1000 West Wycoming Street, Philadelphia, Pa 19140.
