Pearl Arking

Our beloved Pearl Arking passed away July 16, 2025, at 105 years.

Born December 30, 1919 in Patchogue, N.Y., she resided in Coral Springs (and Hollywood) Florida.

Pearl and late husband Bill had Arking’s Linen Shop on the Ocean City Boardwalk for 50 years. (Closed 1988.)

Beautiful and lustrous, like the gem she was named for, Pearl was loving, kind, wise, and certainly enduring. “I love you more” was her motto.

She is survived by her sons Elliott (Jean) and Evan (Sara), her grandsons Aaron (Germaine), Andrew (Tammy) and Kyle, her great-grandsons Aric and Harrison.

Pearl inspired us all. We will miss her dearly and love her forever.

A private service was held at Levitt Weinstein Funeral Home and Cemetery, Hollywood, Fla.
