Ocean City Job Fair for seasonal positions March 15 at Music Pier

OCEAN CITY – The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Ocean City High School to host the annual Job Fair at the Ocean City Music Pier 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 15.

The Job Fair provides a platform for job seekers to explore employment opportunities, network with local businesses, and highlight their skills and qualifications for prospective employers.

Each year, the Job Fair is well-attended, with local and surrounding businesses who hire summer staff to fill a host of positions for the upcoming tourism season. Some of the jobs even lead to year-round employment in “America’s Greatest Family Resort.”

The Ocean City Beach Patrol, the Ocean City Department of Community Services, the Ocean City Division of Recreation, the Ocean City Finance Department and the Ocean City Public Works Department are among the many businesses that will be in attendance.

Job seekers will have the opportunity to apply for several seasonal city positions. They could apply to become a lifeguard or for another position with the beach patrol, become a beach tag checker or city parking lot attendant for the Finance Department, become a camp counselor or work on the playgrounds for Recreation, or assist Public Works employees with maintaining the beach and boardwalk.

There will also be an array of businesses in search of qualified candidates to work at their miniature golf, water park or other fun and exciting Ocean City attractions, as well as plenty of opportunities to work in retail at chocolate and ice cream shops, apparel, household, and other retail stores.

The Ocean City Chamber of Commerce remains committed to fostering economic growth and prosperity within the Ocean City community.
