OCEAN CITY – The Ocean City High School girls and boys teams won their meets Saturday morning against Ridley (Pa.) High School at the Ocean City Aquatic and Fitness Center.
The girls improved to 5-1 on the season and the boys to 6-1.
The Ocean City girls dominated Ridley, 110.5 to 59.5.
Ryan Cooke, Abby Hays, Rachel Stauffer and Sofia Petrov won the opening event, the 200-meter medley relay, in a time of 2:11.30. Ocean City teammates Jessica Scott, Elizabeth Abbott, Bryn Evans and Allyson Leeds were third.
Olivia Scherbin won the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:18.21 with teammate Lilly Teofanova fourth.
Red Raiders Vanna Kelly (2:54.78), Petrov and Ava Kelly finished third, fourth and fifth in the 200 individual medley.
Cooke won the 50 freestyle in 30.09 seconds with Hays and Julianna Duff third and fourth.
Stauffer took the 100 butterfly in 1:09.33 with Vanna and Ava Kelly fourth and fifth.
Scherbin won her second individual event of the day in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:00.76. Petrov was third and Nina DiPilato was fourth.
Callie Bellwoar won the 400 freestyle for Ocean City in 5:09.33 with Teofanova second and Breanna Fabi fourth.
Hays, Stauffer, Teofanova and Scherbin combined to win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:59.57. Teammates Duff, Mia Gallagher, DiPilato and Vanna Kelly were third.
Bellwoar had her second individual win in the 100 backstroke. Her time was 1:14.59, just out-touching Cooke in second. Jessica Scott was fourth for Ocean City.
Hays won the 100 breaststroke in 1:23.49 with Duff third and Abbott fifth.
The Red Raiders wrapped up the meet by taking first and second in the 400 freestyle relay.
Petrov, Teofanova, Cooke and Scherbin won in 4:31.09 and Stauffer, Ava Kelly, Fabi and DiPilato were second.

The Ocean City boys jumped out to a quick lead against Ridley by taking first and second place in the 200-meter medley relay.
C.J. Denn, Gavin Neal, Pat Armstrong and Jackson Agnellini won in a time of 1 minute 59.09 seconds and teammates Matthew Woodside, Colin Abbott, Michael Kelly and Kraig Redmond were second.
Woodside followed that with a win in the 200 freestyle. His time was 2:05.43. Teammates Tommy Armstrong and Brett Heritage were third and fifth.
Kelly (2:27.36), Neal and Abbott went 2-3-5 in the 200 individual medley and then Pat Armstrong (25.63), Nick Bianchi and Agnellini finished 2-3-4 in the 50 freestyle.
Pat Armstrong, Denn and Bianchi had another 2-3-4 finish in the 100 butterfly. Armstrong’s time was 1:01.47.
Agnellini (59.73 seconds) and Andrew Allegretto were second and fourth in the 100 freestyle.
Woodside won the 400 freestyle in a time of 4:27.67, with Tommy Armstrong second and Abbott fifth.
Bianchi, Neal, Agnellini ad Pat Armstrong combined to win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:42.68.
Denn and Kelly went 1-2 in the 100 backstroke. Denn’s winning time was 1:07.77.
Neal followed that by winning the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.89 with Andrew Koch and Matthew Bell fourth and fifth for the Red Raiders.
Woodside, Bianchi, Tommy Armstrong and Kelly finished second in the final event, the 400 freestyle relay, in 3:59.87. Teammates Allegretto, Denn, Heritage and Abbott were third.
On Friday, the Ocean City boys and girls host Vineland and on Tuesday, Jan. 18, host Cedar Creek. Both meets are at 4 p.m. at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.
At the end of last week, the Vineland girls were undefeated with a 5-0 record and Cedar Creek was 2-0. The Vineland boys were 3-3 and the Cedar Creek boys were 3-1.
