Ocean City Councilman Barnes sworn in

Mayor Jay Gillian, right, swears in new at-large Ocean City Councilman Sean Barnes at the City Council meeting June 13. Holding the Bible for Barnes is his great-nephew, Milo Sean Barnes, 7. “He is my real close buddy and we do a lot together,” the new councilman said of Milo. “As soon as I was aware I had to bring somebody to hold the Bible, I just thought he was the perfect choice and to introduce him to public service some day, maybe.” Barnes said he is excited to be on council .
