Mary Jane Gill Bilyk, 79

Mary Bilyk, 79, passed away on December 30, 2024, in Tildwell Hospice House in Bradenton, Florida, after a long illness.  Mary was born on March 11,1945 in Camden, New Jersey to Dorothy C. Cabrey and Earl A. Gill.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, George R. Bilyk, their two sons, George R. Bilyk, Jr. of Bradenton, Gregory A. Bilyk and his wife Cynthia, their two children, Greg Jr. and Pele, of Quemada, Texas and 5 siblings: Tom Gill of Egg Harbor Township NJ, John E. Gill of Drexel Hill PA, Michael A. Gill of Linwood NJ, Pattie Gill of Brooklyn NY and Barbara Gill Rogus of Ocean City NJ.  She is predeceased by her sister, Susan Gill Havens.

Mary grew up in Southern New Jersey, and was a 1963 graduate of Ocean City High School.  She lived for many years in North Arlington NJ until she and her family moved to Bradenton FL in 2001. She was a devoted wife and mother and her most important career was raising her family.  Mary was a good friend to many, loved a good time and a good laugh.  She loved her dogs and did much research on various breeds.

Funeral arrangements are private. A Celebration of Life gathering is being planned in the near future.
