Marlene Amelia White (nee. Trotz) died on May 28, 2021 at the age of 85.
Beloved wife and life partner of William H. White for 56 years. She was born in Dickson City, PA and mostly recently resided in Kennett Square, PA and Ocean City, NJ. Marlene and Bill rented real estate in Ocean City for decades and maintained a residence there upon retirement. Marlene embraced life and cherished her relationships with friends and family. She had a treasured community of friends at the shore and created memorable beach experiences for multiple generations of her extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing beginning at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Temple Lutheran Church, 501 Brookline Boulevard, Havertown, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 238 Reese Street, Scranton, PA 18508.
