Lois Meyers, 89

Lois Meyers, age 89, of Ocean City, NJ formerly of Cranford, NJ, passed into Heaven peacefully on September 11, 2021. 

Lois was a member of Cranford United Methodist Church in Cranford. She enjoyed singing in the choir and spending time volunteering for Plainfield Free Meals. She also was an associate member of Saint Peter’s United Methodist Church in Ocean City, NJ.

Lois enjoyed children and taught for many years in school systems throughout New Jersey. She received both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education from Newark State College, currently known as Kean University. She was a member of Kappa Delta Phi honorary society. Lois enjoyed traveling with her family and dancing with her husband Dick (deceased 2014). 

Remembering her with unending love are her children, daughter Beth (husband Chris), her son Dave (wife Christina), her grandson Kieran and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on September 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Memorial Garden of the Cranford United Methodist Church, 201 Lincoln Avenue East, Cranford, NJ. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts are gratefully accepted through the Cranford United Methodist Church Memorial Fund 201 Lincoln Ave. East, Cranford, NJ 07016 or to the United Methodist Communities, 3311 State Route 33, Neptune, NJ 07753 Re: Lois Meyers at the Shores.
