Lois Ann Mullen, 72

Lois Ann Mullen (nee Poole), 72, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in her Ocean City, NJ home with her family by her side.  She ultimately won her battle over devastating complications from surgery for newly-diagnosed cholangiocarcinoma as she is now pain-free, fully-healed and rejoicing in heaven with her loved ones.

Lois was born in Camden, NJ on November 22, 1948, and was raised in Barrington and Haddon Heights.  She graduated from Haddon Heights High School in 1967 and went on to enjoy a career in the medical and dental fields.  She considered the most cherished job to be as a wife, mother and homemaker.  She created lasting memories for every holiday, special occasion and vacation for all her loved ones.  Her most joyful times in life were when her family was together.  Lois never missed an opportunity to make those around her feel loved and cared for.

She leaves behind to mourn her loss, her beloved husband, Dennis, of nearly 50 years, as well as her devoted children, Tim (Abby) and Jill Adamson (Tom).  Her most cherished gems on this earth were her adoring grandchildren: Madelyn, Casey, Lila, Luke and Charlie.  Lois was preceded in death by her dear parents, Herbert and Madelyn.  Although she was an only child, Lois cultivated many lifelong, enduring friendships who are truly considered family.  Lois had a deep and abiding faith in the Lord, and we take comfort in knowing we will be reunited one day.

A service of memory and love will be offered on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 12 noon, at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, 501 E. 8th St., Ocean City, NJ 08226.  Visitation and viewing will be held from 10 am until the time of service.  Burial will immediately follow at Seaside Cemetery in Palermo, NJ.
