John Charles Fallon Sr., 85

John Charles Fallon Sr., of Ocean City, NJ, died Sunday, February 13, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. 

He was 85. Born May 7, 1936, in Croydon, PA, he was the son of the late Leonard Sr., and Catherine Rafferty Fallon, and the beloved husband of Rosemarie Elizabeth Gaudioso Fallon, to whom he was married 62 wonderful years.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by his siblings, Lorraine, Leonard Jr., and Mary. 

John served in The US army from 1953-1955 and was stationed in Korea. 

He was employed by the Philadelphia Electric Co. PECO, for 30 years until his early retirement at age 55. John was an avid golf enthusiast, being a member of the Ocean City Senior Golf League. He also was President for many years of the South Ocean City Improvement Association. 

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children, John C. Fallon Jr., of Bordentown, NJ, and Michael J. Fallon and his wife, Karen, of Newtown, PA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Colleen Fallon, of Bensalem, PA, John Fallon III, Michael Fallon Jr, and Joseph Fallon of Newtown, PA. and his great grandson, Cameron John. In addition to his immediate family, John is also survived by his loving extended family, Jim and Melissa Brown, and their children, Hailey, Cynthia, James and Paige, of Oceanview, NJ. 

Memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John’s honor to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
