JoAnn Gidley Moon, 88, died December 28, 2020.
She was born July 15, 1932 in Bell County, Texas. JoAnn was the daughter of James Bunyan and Ruth (Stroud) Gidley. She was married to Lewis P. Moon, Jr for over 65 years until his passing on November 8, 2018.
JoAnn is survived by her daughters Linda (Mark) Atwood of Nazareth, PA, Barbara Moon and Deborah (Wayne) Smith of Cape Canaveral, FL, H. Elizabeth (Vincent) Coladonato of Downingtown, PA, and Cynthia (Byron) Thornton of McKinney, TX; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and sister, Frances Roth. She is also survived by 4 half siblings. In addition to her husband JoAnn was predeceased by her parents; sisters Marie Close, Velma Griffin and Mary Beesley; Brothers James, Roland, and Jake Gidley and half-sister Doris Burt.
Interment will be at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery with date yet to be determined. A celebration of her life life here on earth and with God in heaven will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
