Frances Hutsko, 90

Frances (“Fran”) Hutsko (Lubrani), 90, of Ocean City, died July 21, 2020.

On July 21st, our loving Mom and Mom-Mom left us on this earth, but we know she is dancing with the angels and smiling down on us all.  She passed away comfortably at her home with her daughter by her side.  We rest knowing she lived a full life and now she is at peace.

Fran was a devoted catholic who lived her life with Jesus Christ as her Savior, with a world view of human rights, equal acceptance of all walks of life and championed a silent fight for those who struggle.

She loved playing the slots in AC and Vegas.  Mom also enjoyed dinner parties with her “Frannie” friends in Philly and had a fearless palate for foods from around the world. “Mom-Mom” was Ocean City Theatre Company’s #1 fan and especially proud of the educational avenue that it provided to kids of all ages.

Fran was survived by her loving family which included her brother Vinnie (Gail) Lubrani; her children Steve, Joe, John (Becky) and Janice (James) Hartman; grandson Michael (Jon) Hartman; granddaughters Alexandria (Erick) Loera, Lindsay and Jessica Lakin; great-granddaughters, Charleigh Rose, Tyra and Aliyah, great-great-grandson, Cailen; and great-niece Nicole Fotiou-Jones, as well nieces, nephews and cousins.

Those who predeceased her were son Tommy, husband Steve, sister Cam, brother Danny, and parents Silio and Louise.

Final arrangements will be private.  In memory of “Mom-Mom”, donations would be proudly accepted to support the education fund for the Ocean City Theatre Company, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (located at 1501 West Avenue, Ocean City, NJ 08226).
