Edwin William Wagner, 83

Wagner, Edwin William 83 of Ocean City, NJ who was born in Atlantic City on February 8, 1939 to Erika and William Wagner, died on January 15, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents and survived by one sister, Erika Muzslay (Oliver) and three nephews, Lance, Drew and Heath (Jeannette) Muzslay.

Edwin grew up in Atlantic City and graduated from Atlantic City High School, class of 1957. He continued his education at Albright College and graduated in the class of 1962. Edwin worked in the welfare departments in Atlantic City and Bridgeton.

Edwin went to the First Presbyterian Church in Ocean City where he especially enjoyed singing in the choir.

Edwin was very active. He loved to hike, bike and walk in the woods, on the Ocean City boardwalk and on the Linwood bike path.

Edwin will be remembered as a reserved and kind man who enjoyed classical music.

His Funeral Service will be offered Monday, January 30th at 11 o’clock from The First Presbyterian Church, 7th Street at Wesley Avenue, Ocean City, NJ where friends may call from ten o’clock until the time of service. Burial is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy or a charity of your choice.
