Catherine “Cathie” B. Daley (née Becker) age 79, of Broomall, PA and Ocean City, NJ, passed away on September 11th, 2023.

Born in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late George J. and Catherine (née Robison) Becker.

Cathie was the beloved wife of William J. Daley; the loving mother of Russell Hendricks (Lane), Sharon Gallen (Michael), William Hendricks (Kelli), Kate Daley-Yankanich (Bill); the devoted grandmother of Ali Hendricks, Kyle Hendricks, Ryan Hendricks, Tyler Gallen (Ally), Troy Gallen, Makayla Gallen, Drew Gallen, Kendall Hendricks, Luke Hendricks, Cole Hendricks, and Adriana Yankanich. She was the adoring great-grandmother of Rory Gallen and Stevie Gallen. Cathie is also survived by her dear sisters, Barbara Harbaugh and Julie Becker.

Cathie was renowned for her devotion to family, holding her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in the highest regard. Her summers were spent in Ocean City, NJ, where she delighted in the companionship of both family and close friends. She possessed a passion for embarking on new adventures, whether it involved basking in the sun at 14th Street Beach, trying her luck at the casino slot machines, enjoying dinners out, or simply savoring the sunset on the bay’s dock while sipping her favorite cocktail.

Two cherished traditions occupied a special place in her heart: Night in Venice and Christmas Eve. During these moments, friends and family would come together from near and far to create enduring memories. Cathie embraced life wholeheartedly and her absence leaves a profound void. However, her legacy endures, thriving through multiple generations.
