Angela Crawford

Crawford, Angela, P., R.N., C.C.M, on Friday May 20, 2022, Our Lord called Angela to Heaven, where she was wrapped in the loving embrace of her father, Anthony C., her mother Louise and her brother Matthew. Angela had been diagnosed with cancer in December 2019 and she lived far longer than expected due to her grit and determination.

Angela’s life was marked by vocational success and many endearing friendships. Born in Atlantic City, Angela was raised in Margate where she graduated from Blessed Sacrament grammar school. Upon her graduation from Atlantic City High School, she enrolled in St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, where she received her R.N. degree. She worked for Shore Memorial Hospital for over thirty years, during which time she supervised the Kidney Dialysis Unit, Angela also worked in the Utilization Review Unit and obtained certification in Case Management. After retiring from Shore Memorial, Angela embarked on a second career, that being a school nurse and teacher’s aide at St. Joseph’s Regional School in Somers Point. Angela loved every single moment at St. Joseph’s, as could be seen from her shouts of joy when she met one of her kindergarten students in public. While working at Shore Memorial and St. Joseph’s, Angela gained the friendship of her wonderful co-workers, who became close personal friends and who provided support and encouragement during Angela’s illness.

Angela’s proudest achievement is her loving daughter, Chrissy, in whom Angela had immense and fierce pride. Chrissy is the light of Angela’s life and her reason for being. Angela’s favorite pastimes included cooking, reading, spending time on the phone with her many friends and staying at her second home in Ft. Myers, Florida, where her neighbors also became her close friends.

Angela is predeceased by her father, Anthony C (Sears) Previti, her mother Louise (Gerbino) Previti (a/k/a “Nana”), her brother Matthew M. Previti, her Father-in-law J. Frank Crawford and mother-in-law Frances Crawford, of Collingswood, N.J. and Ocean City N.J. She is survived by her loving husband Jim of Linwood, her devoted daughter Christina, her brother Anthony C. Previti (Janet) of Somers Point, her nephews David Previti (Crystal) of Falls Church, Va., Vincent Previti (Christine) of Absecon N.J., Anthony Previti (Sabrina) of Galloway, sister-in-law Frances M.
