Andrew Keith “Drew” Burman passed away peacefully at his home in Cape Coral, Fla. with his wife and daughters by his bedside on Sept. 29, 2024.
Drew loved his hometown of Ocean City, NJ. Growing up at 10th and Ocean allowed him to be close to two of his favorite places: Watson’s Restaurant, where he worked and enjoyed fun times after, and St. John’s Lutheran Church, where his family were members.
Drew loved to play basketball and was an instrumental player at Ocean City High School, class of 1975. He then went on to Gettysburg College where he was an active TKE brother. After graduation he moved to Florida.
He and RaeAnn raised their daughters in New Braunfels, TX.
After retirement from a long career of restaurant management, they relocated to Cape Coral. Drew enjoyed endless outdoor activities, tending his gardens while relishing the sunsets on their canal home. Drew was a diehard Tampa Bay Bucs fan.
Drew leaves behind his wife RaeAnn; daughters Andreanna (Reese Martin) and Julianna; mother Jane Burman; his sisters Helen (David) Sellitsch, and Wendy (Garth) Moyle; nieces Alex (Taylor) Boschetti and Adrienne Sellitsch; nephew Ryan Moyle. Predeceased by his father Robert Burman.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, Oct. 19, 11:00 am with visitation at 10:30 am, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ocean City, NJ.
