FRANK LONGO, 81

Frank Longo, 81, lifetime resident of Ocean City, N.J., passed away peacefully Oct. 31, 2023.

Born in Ocean City to the late Joseph and Mary Longo.

Frank served with the United States Army from 1961 until his Honorable Discharge in 1963.

He was the owner of Frank’s Shoe Clinic in Ocean City for many years before his retirement. He was a Master Shoe Craftsman and received the Silver Cup Award for Superior Workmanship.

Frank was an avid runner, having completed over 74 marathons, including Boston, Philadelphia, Marine Corps, New York and New Orleans Marathons.

He was predeceased by his Wife: Carol A. (nee Evans) Longo, siblings: Nicholas Longo, Dominic Longo, Angela (Don) Pileggi, Mary Hartz, Antoinette Morris and Vicki (Jack) Coughlin.

Surviving are his stepson: James R. (Michelle) Sampson, step-grandchildren: Marissa and Garrett Sampson, many nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors was scheduled for Nov. 4 in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery.
