Susan Gill Havens, 75, of Ocean City, died peacefully on July 7, 2023 after a courageous 20-year battle with cancer.
She will be missed by her children, Lisa Mistretta (Brooksville, FL) and Paul Capizola III (Norfolk, VA), 6 grandchildren, her siblings Barbara Gill Rogus, Mary Gill Bilynk, Michael A. Gill, Pattie Gill, John E. Gill, Thomas E. Gill, 10 nieces and nephews and many friends.
Sue was a kind, generous person who lit up every room into which she walked.
Sue donated her remains to Penn Med in the hope that she might help unlock the secrets of cancer. She asked that those who wish to make a donation in her memory please send it to Shore Medical Center Foundation, 100 Medical Center Way, Somers Point, NJ 08244.
A celebration of her life is being planned in September, her birthday month. If you are interest in attending, please contact a family member.
