Sarah Meta Bumbaugh passed away peacefully on November 7, 2022 at Greenwood Villages, Lewistown, Pa.
Sally was born June 26, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was the devoted daughter of the late Frank T. and Ethel M. Bumbaugh. She is survived by her many cousins.
Sally graduated from Sweet Briar College, Sweet Briar Va. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Somers Point, N.J. and for a period she was a realtor with Monihan Realty in Ocean City, N.J.
Sally lived most of her childhood in the Pittsburgh, Pa. area before starting her career in New York City and finally relocating permanently to Ocean City, N.J. to care for her parents.
Sally’s family meant everything to her. She loved to cook, travel, read, knit, garden, and laugh. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Sally’s life will be at 10 a.m., June 21, 2023 at the historic Church of the Redeemer, 108 S. 20th Ave., Longport, N.J.
