Ocean City’s Fall Block Party draws thousands

OCEAN CITY – Ocean City’s annual Fall Block Party drew tens of thousands of people to America’s Greatest Family Resort Saturday, Oct. 10.

Shoppers fill Asbury Avenue from Fifth to 12th streets from the 9 a.m. starting time until 5 p.m. A few hundred vendors offered up a wide range of merchandise from clothes to food to crafts. The Block Party also is a time for many of the community’s civic groups, veterans organizations and school teams to meet the public and show what they provide.

The resort features a block party in the fall and in the spring that helps bring people to a downtown that offers more than a hundred merchants. The Fall Block Party is just one of many events that draw people to the island throughout the fall.
