Longport edges Margate for South Jersey Women’s Lifeguard Championship title

VENTNOR – The Longport Beach Patrol won the second annual South Jersey Women’s Lifeguard Championship in Ventnor City Wednesday evening, Aug. 12.

The LBP edged Margate on a tie-breaker because of the Longport team’s win in the doubles row. Both teams finished with 9 points. Atlantic City was third, Sea Isle City fourth and Cape May fifth.
