OCHS junior sets powerlifting records

OCEAN CITY – Aimee Altieri, a junior at Ocean City High School, recently competed in the RPS North American and New Jersey Powerlifting Championships. 

Altieri captured first place in the teenage, female, 132-pound weight class, by posting a 205-pound squat, 100-pound bench press, and 275-pound deadlift for a total of 580 pounds.

The deadlift and overall total set RPS New Jersey State Records. Altieri presently trains at the RJA Memorial Powerhouse Gym.
