OCEAN CITY – Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) will present the program, “Family-Friendly Foods for Summer Fun,” from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at the Ocean City Free Public Library.
The program will explore healthy, family-friendly foods perfect for summer snacking, quick lunches, and easy dinner sides. The class will review the benefits of eating in-season produce and strategies that make eating well simple, delicious, and enjoyable for the whole family.
The presenter will be Anneliese Kuemmerle, MS, RDN, FCHS program associate II for Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County.
The library is at 1735 Simpson Ave. This in-person presentation is sponsored by the Ocean City Community Wellness Alliance.
“With the upcoming return of summer and local produce, it is a great time of year to focus on family wellness. This class offers fun, simple ways to enjoy healthy foods together as a family,” Kuemmerle said.
