20 more COVID-19 cases in Atlantic County; no new deaths

The Atlantic County Division of Public Health reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday morning, April 11, but no new deaths.

There are now 242 positive cases of the unique coronavirus in Atlantic County. Seven people have died from COVID-19.

Saturday’s cases include eight women from 20 to 98 years old and a dozen men from 30 to 70 years old.

Linwood and Somers Point have two new positive cases each and Northfield has one.

Egg Harbor Township has five new reported cases and Ventnor has three. Other communities that have a new case, according to the Division of Health, are Atlantic City, Brigantine, Buena Vista Township, Galloway Township, Margate, Mullica Township and Pleasantville.

Atlantic County is offering drive-thru testing for county residents showing symptoms of COVID-19. The testing is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, and Thursday, April 16, behind the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing.
